   8 Appointment of the Chair of the CTTE

  11 In general, the procedure in §6.1.7 should be followed.

  13 Re-appointment of chair after membership change

  16 When new members are appointed to the CTTE or within three months of a
  17 member resigning from the CTTE, the current chairperson should
  18 announce their intention to vacate the position within two weeks.

  20 This will force a new election to which all members of the CTTE
  21 (including the vacating chair if the chair is still a member) are
  22 eligible.
