  \item{right}{a logical specifying whether the smallest clade is on the
    right-hand side (when the tree is plotted upwards), or the opposite
    (if \code{FALSE}).}

  This function reorganizes the internal structure of the tree to get
  the ladderized effect when plotted.
}
