From 78bc3e84a44be2dcd65742d4d6d4d19cb7f20785 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Graham Percival Date: Wed, 17 Feb 2010 18:41:46 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Web build: better way of building translations. By "better", I mean "being beaten up by bikini-clad girls with rubber pipes is **better** than being beaten up by bikini-clad football players". No offense to anybody who desires such things (citing rule 34). Yes, the for loop is ugly, especially since I don't know why the various escape strings work. And I'm positive that this is a stupid way of writing a makefile; patches from anybody who knows anything about makefiles are appreciated. --- website.make | 40 ++++++++++++++++++++++++---------------- 1 file changed, 24 insertions(+), 16 deletions(-) diff --git a/website.make b/website.make index 8ac95f220e..3170bc6f6a 100644 --- a/website.make +++ b/website.make @@ -27,6 +27,8 @@ endif ################################################################ OUT=out-website +WEB_LANGS=es fr + TEXI2HTML=ONLY_WEB=1 TOP_SRC_DIR=$(top-src-dir) DEPTH=$(depth) PERL_UNICODE=SD $(TEXI2HTML_PROGRAM) @@ -56,10 +58,14 @@ website-xrefs: website-version $(foreach manual, $(MANUALS), \ $(EXTRACT_TEXI_FILENAMES) -I $(top-src-dir)/Documentation/ \ -I $(OUT) -o $(OUT) $(manual) && ) : - # translation: es - $(EXTRACT_TEXI_FILENAMES) -I $(top-src-dir)/Documentation/es \ - -I $(OUT) -o $(OUT) --split=node \ - $(top-src-dir)/Documentation/es/web.texi + # translations + for l in $(WEB_LANGS); do \ + $(EXTRACT_TEXI_FILENAMES) \ + -I $(top-src-dir)/Documentation/"$$l" \ + -I $(OUT) -o $(OUT) --split=node \ + $(top-src-dir)/Documentation/"$$l"/web.texi ;\ + done; + website-texinfo: website-version website-xrefs $(TEXI2HTML) --prefix=index \ @@ -70,18 +76,20 @@ website-texinfo: website-version website-xrefs -D web_version \ --output=$(OUT)/website/ \ $(top-src-dir)/Documentation/web.texi - # translation: es - $(TEXI2HTML) --prefix=index \ - --split=section \ - --I=$(top-src-dir)/Documentation/es \ - --I=$(top-src-dir)/Documentation/ \ - --I=$(OUT) \ - --lang=es \ - --init-file=$(texi2html-init-file) \ - -D web_version \ - --output=$(OUT)/es/ \ - $(top-src-dir)/Documentation/es/web.texi - find $(OUT)/es/ -name '*.html' | xargs grep -L 'UNTRANSLATED NODE: IGNORE ME' | sed 's!$(OUT)/es/!!g' | xargs $(MASS_LINK) --prepend-suffix .es hard $(OUT)/es/ $(OUT)/website/ + # translations + for l in $(WEB_LANGS); do \ + $(TEXI2HTML) --prefix=index \ + --split=section \ + --I=$(top-src-dir)/Documentation/"$$l" \ + --I=$(top-src-dir)/Documentation/ \ + --I=$(OUT) \ + --lang="$$l" \ + --init-file=$(texi2html-init-file) \ + -D web_version \ + --output=$(OUT)/"$$l" \ + $(top-src-dir)/Documentation/"$$l"/web.texi ; \ + find $(OUT)/$$l/ -name '*.html' | xargs grep -L 'UNTRANSLATED NODE: IGNORE ME' | sed 's!$(OUT)/'$$l'/!!g' | xargs $(MASS_LINK) --prepend-suffix .$$l hard $(OUT)/$$l/ $(OUT)/website/ ; \ + done website-css: -- 2.39.5
