+

+
+## Ingredients
+
++ 2 1/2 c old-fashioned oats
++ 3/4 c all-purpose flour
++ 1/4 c brown sugar
++ 1 tsp baking powder
++ 1/4 tsp baking soda
++ heaping 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
++ 1/8 tsp salt
++ 1/2 c plus 1 tbsp milk
++ 1/4 c maple syrup
++ 1 egg or 1 flax egg (1 tbsp ground flax plus 2 1/2 tbsp water)
++ 1 tsp vanilla extract
++ 1/3 c chocolate chips
++ 1/2 c dried cherries

+## Directions
+
++ Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
++ Line baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper.
++ Thoroughly mix oats, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. 
++ Add milk, syrup, egg, and vanilla and stir until just combined.
++ Stir in chips and cherries.
++ Scoop cookie batter onto lined baking sheets.
++ Bake for 12-15 min.
