## Ingredients
+ 1 small onion, chopped
+ 3 cloves garlic, diced
-+ 29 oz can tomato sauce (pasta sauce potential substitute)
-+ 3 15 oz can beans, drained
-+ 3 C Water
-+ 8 oz canned mushrooms
-+ 1 T salt
-+ 0.5 t pepper
-+ 1 T Italian Seasoning
-+ 6 C (12 oz) uncooked wide noodles
-+ 2 T shredded Parmesan cheese
++ 29-oz can tomato sauce
++ 3 15-oz can beans, drained
++ 3 c water
++ 8-oz can sliced mushrooms
++ 1 tbsp salt
++ 0.5 tsp ground black pepper
++ 1 tbsp dry Italian Seasoning
++ 6 c (12 oz) uncooked wide egg noodles
++ 2 tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
## Directions
-+ Brown ground beef or beans, chopped onion, and garlic in 12" skillet
- (or deep frying pan)
-+ Drain fat and add tomato sauce, water, canned mushrooms, salt,
- pepper, and Italian seasonings.
-+ Boil gently for 5 minutes
-+ Add pasta and boil gently while covered for 15-20 minutes or until
- noodles are tender and most liquid is absorbed
-+ Serve with parmesan cheese
++ Saute onion in large skillet.
++ Add garlic and briefly saute.
++ Add tomato sauce and stir well to loosen anything stuck to bottom.
++ Add beans, water, mushrooms, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
++ Bring to simmer and then stir in noodles.
++ Cover and boil gently for 15 min, until noodles are tender.
++ Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
