+## Ingredients

+### Cupcakes
+
++ 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
++ 5 tsp Earl Grey tea leaves
++ 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
++ 1/4 tsp salt
++ 1/2 c unsalted butter, at room temperature
++ 1 c granulated sugar
++ 1 large egg
++ 1 tsp vanilla extract
++ 1 c milk

+### Frosting

++ 1/2 c unsalted butter, at room temperature
++ 2 c powdered sugar
++ 2 tbsp heavy cream
++ 1 large lemon, zested and juiced

+## Directions
+
++ Heat oven to 350 F.
++ Line cupcake pans with about 14 cupcake liners.
++ Make cupcakes by stirring together flour, tea leaves, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl.
++ Cream 1/2 c butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
++ Beat egg and vanilla into butter mixture.
++ Slowly mix flour mixture into butter mixture.
++ Mix milk into batter.
++ Pour batter into cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
++ Bake cupcakes for 15-20 min until lightly golden.
++ Make frosting by beating 1/2 c butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
++ Mix in heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
++ Spread frosting on cooled cupcakes.

+## Note
+It's best to cut open tea bags for the tea leaves since bagged tea is basically ground and mixes into the batter well.
+Nice tea leaves will remain as little pieces in the batter that will turn into hard bits after baking.
