+## Ingredients
+
++ 1 med onion, chopped
++ 4 ribs celery, chopped
++ 1 tsp olive oil
++ 1 cup wild rice
++ 1 med butternut squash or sweet potato, diced
++ 1/2 tsp dried oregano
++ ½ tsp dried thyme
++ ½ tsp garlic powder
++ ½ tsp salt
++ 1/8 tsp black pepper
++ 1 bay leaf
++ 6 c vegetable broth
++ 15-oz can cannellini beans, drained
++ 6 c destemmed and chopped kale

+## Directions

++ Saute onion and celery in olive oil over medium heat.
++ Add remaining ingredients, except beans and kale.
++ Bring to a boil, and then simmer until rice is cooked (about 45 min).
++ Stir in beans and kale. Serve warm.
