8 + 1 small onion, chopped
9 + 3 cloves garlic, peeled and diced
10 + 1 29-oz can tomato sauce
11 + 3 15-oz can beans, drained
13 + 1 8-oz can sliced mushrooms
15 + 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
16 + 1 tbsp dry Italian Seasoning
17 + 6 c (12 oz) uncooked wide egg noodles
18 + 2 tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
21 + Saute onion in large skillet.
22 + Add garlic and briefly saute.
23 + Add tomato sauce and stir well to loosen anything stuck to bottom.
24 + Add beans, water, mushrooms, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
25 + Bring to simmer and then stir in noodles.
26 + Cover and boil gently for 15 min, until noodles are tender.
27 + Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
