  11 + 1/3 c maple syrup
  12 + 1 tsp vanilla extract
  13 + 1 large egg at room temperature, lightly beaten
  14 + 3 c all-purpose flour
  15 + 2 tsp corn starch
  16 + 1 tsp baking soda

  21 + Completely combine browned butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup in large bowl.
  22 + Stir in vanilla extract.
  23 + Stir in egg until well-combined.
  24 + In a medium bowl, stir together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
  25 + Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture until completely combined.
  26 + Scoop out cookies and chill in refrigerator for at least an hour.
  27 + Preheat oven to 375 F and line cookie sheets with silicone mats or parchment sheets.
