3 Adapted from Grandma's Kitchen - Treasured Family Recipes
11 + 14 manicotti pasta shells
12 + 3 1/2 c shredded mozarella cheese
14 + 7 tbsp chopped fresh basil or 2 1/3 tbsp dried basil
15 + 1 c chopped dried salami, black olives, or other preferred ingredient
19 + 1 c shredded mozarella cheese
20 + 30 oz marinara sauce, divided
21 + heaping 1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
25 + Preheat oven to 350 F.
26 + Cook pasta in boiling, salted water til al dente.
27 + Drain and rinse with cool water.
28 + Let dry on cutting board.
29 + Spray 13 by 9 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
30 + Pour 2 c of the marinara sauce into the baking dish.
31 + Mix all other Stuffed Pasta ingredients in large bowl.
32 + Use small spoon to carefully fill manicotti with Stuffed Pasta mixture.
33 + Place filled manicotti into baking dish.
34 + Pour remaining marinara sauce over top of manicotti and top with the 1 c of mozarella.
35 + Bake manicotti uncovered for 15 min.
37 + Bake further 10 min.
