   7  MOOSE is the Multiscale Object-Oriented Simulation Environment. It is the base
   8  and numerical core for large, detailed simulations including Computational
   9  Neuroscience and Systems Biology.
  10  MOOSE spans the range from single molecules to sub-cellular networks, from
  11  single cells to neuronal networks, and to still larger systems. It is
  12  backwards-compatible with GENESIS, and forward compatible with Python and
  13  XML-based model definition standards like SBML and MorphML.
  14  MOOSE is coordinating with the GENESIS-3 project towards the goals of
  15  developing educational resources for modeling.
